What is Tibetan Singing Bowls Healing?
The physical body is over 70% water. Science has shown how sounds, vibrations and frequencies affect bodies of water. The sounds and vibrations made from the singing bowls also affect our bodies.
Many studies have been done in the last decades, including the revolutionary and beautiful visual work of Dr. Masaru Emoto explaining how words, sounds and thoughts can change the structure of water.
Sound has become well known and accepted worldwide not only as a way of healing but also in many other scientific fields. Sound Therapy is recognised by the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine (ICNM) of England.

These devices are also effectual in healing illnesses caused by stress such as mental depression, chronic fatigue, pain, fibromyalgia etc. Nowadays many cancer treatment centers are using sound therapy.
Their sound is beautiful, calming and re-energising. They emit a powerful, long lasting harmonic hum that can be invigorating and calming at the same time. The sound produced by the bowl is complex. When played correctly, a bowl can produce between 5 and 7 different tones at once. No modern Western instrument can produce the sound and no recording can reproduce the physiological effects.
When using the bowls in sound healing or “sound massage” the bowls are placed around or sometimes on the body of the client. The resonance of the bowls harmonic vibrations will re-balance and relax the body’s chakras.
Tibetan Singing Bowls have long been credited with healing properties. They are said to be able to assist the release of stress and bring internal organs into proper harmony with a sort of “sound massage.”
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has been used to demonstrate that the organs of human body each vibrate at specific frequencies when healthy, and disturbed frequencies when sick. Singing Bowls are thought to have the ability to bring these frequencies into balance to restore health. Most people do report a pleasant, calm feeling when hearing Singing Bowls played.
Research shows that the Tibetan Singing Bowls are associated with the cures of diverse types of disorders and illnesses. These devices are also effectual in healing illnesses caused by stress such as mental depression, chronic fatigue, pain, fibromyalgia etc.
It has been discovered, that the harmonic frequencies emitted by the bowls, are effective in healing cancer patients. Nowadays many cancer treatment centres are using sound therapy.
